Leslie Charleson’s Absence Explained
According to Distractify, fans believe Leslie Charleson’s health is the most likely cause of her General Hospital absence. After all, the actress is 78-years-old. So, she certainly isn’t getting any younger. Sadly, the actress has had several bouts of falling ill. And, she’s had to endure pretty lengthy recovery times. Furthermore, she is fast approaching the age of 80. Fans assume her body isn’t as equipped to handle the physical demands of filming as it once was.
Leslie Charleson, however, remains a strong and fierce woman. As such, she hasn’t expressed an interest in discussing her health with General Hospital fans. Monica Quartermaine’s Absence Explained
As a member of the hospital board, Monica Quartermaine doesn’t require as much screen time. The writers decided to explain her absence from the storyline by painting the picture of a very busy businesswoman. The storyline suggested Monica was traveling a lot for business.
