Anna Cardwell’s Final Wishes Will Play Out On Television
When Mama June Shannon’s eldest daughter, Anna Cardwell was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in early 2023, it was a shock to everyone. No one knew what would happen especially when it was revealed that she was terminal. She started to prepare her daughters, Kylee and Kaitlyn for the worst and wanted to leave a good legacy for them. Her mother even moved back to Georgia to be near her to assist with whatever she needed. Then, the family shared they were going on their last trip together and, in no time, prayers were needed. Soon enough, Anna had passed at 29 and it seemed like they had lost a piece of the puzzle.
With that, she left behind her two daughters, one from her marriage to ex-husband, Michael Cardwell. However, her daughter, Kaitlyn, did not have a known biological father. Michael spent so much time with her and even paid for her education after the divorce so he wanted custody of her, as well. Yet, Kaitlyn was in the custody of Mama June and she is prepared to fight for her granddaughter. Fans wonder if this is what Anna really wanted or if she had a chance to write her last wishes. Now, according to The Sun, this will all play out in the upcoming season of Family Crisis.
Mama June had this to say: “We are following Anna’s wishes at the end of the day. People will see that all this season of the show.” Of course, everyone wants to know if Anna Cardwell will address where she wants her two daughters to go. To that, June simply replied:
“A lot was covered on camera. The world will hear it from Anna’s mouth. This is a hard season to watch, for sure. Like I said when I’ve been going live on TikTok, a lot of people need to realize that a lot of our life has been documented.”
It’s Wedding Season
Last season ended with Mama June and Justin Stroud renewing their vows. This season will show Anna Cardwell and her longtime boyfriend, Eldridge Toney tying the knot. Shortly after her diagnosis, the two got married and it was very special for both of them. Now, in the aftermath, the focus is on Kaitlyn and where she really belongs. Although June claims there is footage of what Anna really wants, Michael Cardwell’s attorney notes they have yet to see this. Time will tell what happens next.
