The Traitors contestant Peter Weber talks relationship with Phaedra Parks
Us Weekly caught up with Peter Weber to talk about his relationship with Phaedra Parks on Season 2 of The Traitors. In a preview clip, Phaedra is seen telling Peter, “This is not The Bachelor, and I don’t have to kiss your ass for a rose.”
Peter laughed about that clip and said, “That trailer, man, the comments on that, holy s–t. I had a great time with Phaedra. We had an up and down relationship. I’ve seen her a bunch on TV, so it was very cool to play with her and she’s a sweetheart — for the most part. So, it was good.”
Another contestant on the show, Trishelle Cannatella, said she was excited to meet Bravo star Phaedra. However, she admits she was also terrified. She wasn’t sure how to act around her. But, it turned out great and Trishelle said Phaedra is a warm person. She concluded by saying, “Well, Peter might have a different experience than I did. But I liked Phaedra.”
How did The Traitors compare to being on The Bachelor?
Peter Weber also talked about how different his time on The Traitors was compared to his time on The Bachelor. He said being on The Traitors was the complete opposite of looking for love on The Bachelor. On The Bachelor, he noted that it’s all based on emotions and leading with your heart.
For The Traitors, it’s completely the opposite. Peter said it’s important to detach yourself from all emotions when competing on The Traitors. He admits he loved this show very much and had a great time.
Peter noted there were literally zero similarities between the two shows.
What is The Traitors? Basically, the players are trying to figure out who among them is killing their costars in the middle of the night. The show is hosted by award-winning actor Alan Cumming at an ancient castle in the Scottish Highlands. The contestants work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. However, hidden among the faithful contestants are the traitors. They are trying to eliminate the faithful and claim the prize for themselves.
