‘Prison Brides’ Star Michael Back Behind Bars, Why?
Prison Brides star Michael is already back behind bars but what happened? The Lifetime show will find him getting released and some happiness. Yet, that is apparently short-lived because he could not seem to stay out of trouble. Read on for more details.
Prison Brides Star Michael Back Behind Bars, Why?
The new Lifetime series, much like Love After Lockup, is called Prison Brides. These women have waited for their men to be released and there is so much drama that goes along with it. One of the couples featured is Michael and Erin. According to Starcasm, she is thirty-three from Australia and a hairdresser. She is giving up her life for him and moving to America. So, why was Michael, 43, behind bars, and for how long? He was there for nearly nine years on robbery charges. However, Erin is ready to be with him and take this chance which is all on her.
He does finally get released in the premiere after some drama which makes him lash out. That should have been the red flag for Erin but it was not. In November 2023, the Lifetime star was arrested again but this time for domestic violence, menacing by stalking, and disorderly conduct. Ultimately, these charges were misdemeanors and not felonies but still very serious. Apparently, the victim claimed she: “had been in a romantic relationship with the defendant for (approximately) 3 years, and that the two had been residing together for several months.”

Michael has disputed that he did anything wrong after this. At the same time, the person whom he came into conflict with is not listed. However, it is suspected to be Erin which makes it questionable how they will now air their story. Will there be a disclaimer prior or a quick edit made? After all, this happened two months ago so Lifetime has had time to move Prison Brides around some. Yet, if this is truly a reality series, the show will likely not change at all.
Fans Cannot Understand The Madness
Michael did not appear in court when he was supposed to at the end of November 2023 so this could be a problem. As to where the Prison Brides star is now is yet to be seen. Of course, potential viewers have a lot to say about the Erin being with Michael:
