‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Exits Over Heavy Foot Chatter
The View moderator Whoopi Goldberg exited the show over heavy foot chatter. This is not uncommon for the comedian and actress. So many topics are talked about on The View and clearly, not all of the women agree. That was what the show was built on. A handful of ladies with different opinions, speaking candidly on everything and anything. Recently, the ladies began chatting about feet and foot fetishes. According to Us Weekly, it all began with an anonymous letter to The Guardian. A man had an inquiry as to why his wife stopped wanting foot massages after he confessed to having a foot fetish. Soon, the ladies started to discuss how they felt about feet and all things that went with them.
Whoopi opened up the discussion yet stayed mum as everyone else shared their thoughts. “I wish my husband had a foot fetish and wanted to give foot rubs. It seems like a great problem to have,” noted Alyssa Farah Griffin. Added Sunny Hostin: “Isn’t it great that he has a fetish? If you love foot massages and you happen to be married to a guy with a foot fetish that wants to give massages, it’s like the perfect marriage.” All the while, Whoopi said nothing.
She soon got up and excused herself to which it was joked she had left the building. When she did return, Whoopi Goldberg mocked the situation: “I was so enamored by what you were saying that I felt that I needed to take a breath so I could just get myself together, so I could come back to the table! So, I just got up and walked away and just got myself together!” She also shared that her feet are not that desirable as they are huge therefore she cannot relate.

The View co-host, Joy Behar made it a point to say that her feet are quite lovely. Therefore, she believes that she is responsible for many feet fetishes. Whoopi Goldberg teased her and said that this conversation makes people get up and walk away. Behar has long been rumored to be retiring at some point in the near future. She has said she would maybe like to be a producer on the show. Even on her days off, she is taking notes at home and giving them to the BTS crew.
