Lala Kent And Kristen Doute No Longer Friends

Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has recently thrown shade at previous costar Kristen Doute. Fans are confused at the recent fallout because the last people knew they were friends. A lot has happened since the last season of the show. One major thing was the split of Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval who were together for nearly ten years. Maybe the friendship fell apart because of drama from that, or maybe they just distanced themselves.

Lala Kent Loves The Drama

One of the show’s main stars is Lala Kent. She is always giving her opinion and is always honest, and you either love or hate her. Kent was formerly engaged to Randall Emmett, but that ended when Lala found out all the shady things he was doing. The couple share a daughter and she is Lala’s whole world. Viewers hope to see more of her child in the new season. Kent was also in a relationship with costar James Kennedy in the past. Kent and Kennedy seem to be on good terms now, however. Bravo fans know that when there is drama, Lala is usually right in the middle of it. According to U.S. Magazine, if there was no drama there would be no show. Lala speaks on that:

“The second no one has an opinion on the television we’re making, we no longer have a show. So, whether you love me, you can’t stand me, you think I’m incredible or you think I’m jealous, it’s all the same to me. My name stays in your mouth. I want Ariana’s name to stay in your mouth. I want you to eat and breathe Vanderpump Rules.”

She is not wrong, there would be no show without all the drama that it entails.

The Friendship Crumbled

The friendship ending was a shock to the fans. On an Amazon Live Lala Kent pretends to not know who Kristen Doute is when she is asked if she listens to Doute’s podcast.

“I don’t know who that is so no,”

Viewers are shown on a preview of the new season Lala making a comment about Ariana Madix and her sudden popularity.

 “I have never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly becomes God!”

This may be said because of her several other costars who have been cheated on including herself. It seems as though Doute was not very fond of this comment even though Kent said it was taken out of context.

 “Lala says something along the lines of, ‘You get broken up with and become God.’ I know that Lala recently put something out — I saw it briefly — on social media saying that was taken out of context,” Doute said on her podcast. “My opinion on that — again I don’t know until we watch — is that I do think she is talking about Ariana and I do think she meant it in that moment.”

Could the comment be the reason the two are no longer friends? Maybe fans will get more insight when the show premieres on January 30th.

Regardless of the reason they are not friends anymore, the next season of Vanderpump Rules will be juicier than ever. Lala has always made it clear she does not care how close to her you are, do not cross her or you will be dropped. Are you excited for the newest season?
