Natalia Grace has gained a lot of attention after her story came to light. She was adopted by the Barnett’s but soon after things took an unexpected turn. Natalia Grace recently starred in a docuseries on Max, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks. The show had a jaw-dropping ending and now she has started a GoFundMe asking fans for help.

Natalia Grace: Child Or Adult?

The story of Natalia Grace has taken a popular stance in the true crime world. Natalia suffers from diastrophic dysplasia, which is a rare form of dwarfism. Natalia Grace was born in Ukraine and adopted by the Barnett family in 2010. Soon after her adoption the Barnett’s started to fear for their safety. Supposedly, she was trying to kill their family. She was even seen at the end of their bed holding a knife one night.

The story is not that simple, however. The Barnett family consisted of Kristine, Michael, and their other three children. Suspicions quickly rose and the family started to question if Natalia was a child or an adult. Several people claim Natalia seemed mature for her age and could have conversations that most kids could not have. According to People, after the Barnetts placed Natalia Grace in an apartment by herself, they were charged with neglecting a dependent in 2019. A lot of viewers were on Natalia’s side until an unexpected statement from her newly adopted family, the Man’s.

Natalia Asks Fans For Help To Start New Life

At the end of the docuseries The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks, Antwon Man speaks out about Natalia’s odd behavior.

“Something ain’t right with Natalia. This girl is tweaking, I feel like she’s the enemy in the house. And she said to us, we have held her hostage. Made us look like we’re the enemy.”

That quickly made viewers question if there could be an evil side to Natalia. However, Natalia is now asking fans for help to buy her own home, start a photography business, and help with multiple surgeries she will have to have due to her condition.

“I recently moved out and I’m saving money to get my own house so I can have a personal place of my own, I am doing this so I can have a fresh start in life as an adult and get past everything that happened in my life, I would like to make enough to at least put a deposit on my own place and start a business to start earning some money so I can start saving for this expensive treatment, however if I reach over my goal I will be able to put that towards the treatment I require to give me a better chance at getting enough to cover it,”

Natalia Grace set the goal of $20,000 and received $1500 in less than a day.

Natalia’s story has been confusing, and viewers still have many questions. Especially after the unexpected ending the docuseries had.
