The View Joy Behar Gets Schooled By Gypsy Rose
Gypsy Rose Blanchard hoped to use her platform to advocate for anyone who might be in her situation. Furthermore, she had a message for anyone who was currently in her situation. Gypsy noted that she did NOT do the right thing. She did not handle the situation correctly. And, she paid for her mistakes.
Now, Joy Behar did cut her off telling her not to be so hard on herself. She specifically told her “Don’t say that.” Gypsy, however, did not back down from her position. She doubled down and affirmed that she did do something wrong.
Other members of the panel jumped in to remind Joy that murder was bad. Feeling a bit embarrassed, Joy tried to laugh off the conversation. She ultimately bowed and confirmed Gyspy was right and murder was wrong.
Is She Profiting On Her Situation?
The View panel also informed Gypsy that some are accusing her of milking her situation. Is she trying to cash in on what happened to her? Gypsy Rose Blanchard insisted that she was a very private and shy person. Furthermore, she wasn’t really in love with the idea of being famous. She, however, couldn’t ignore the fact that she was now in the spotlight. So, she hoped to at least do some good with it.
She was pressed about whether she wanted to pursue an actual career in advocacy. Gypsy admitted that maybe one day she would get a 9 to 5 job. Right now, however, her schedule was packed and she didn’t have time for it.
Most who know her story agree she lived in a prison before her boyfriend murdered her mother. Then, she went to a different kind of prison for her crime. So, they understand her wanting to live her life and enjoy some freedom before committing to a 9 to 5 job. Furthermore, if she plays her cards right she can make bank with her massive following and not have to get a traditional job at all.
