Joe Amabile, Wells Adams Disagree Over 1st ‘Golden Bachelorette’
Bachelor Nation alums Joe Amabile and Wells Adams disagree over who should be the first Golden Bachelorette. Keep reading to find out more about their thoughts on the spinoff.
Wells Adams & Joe Amabile Launch Joint Venture
Bachelor Nation stars Wells Adams and Joe Amabile are more than just co-stars. They’ve formed a close friendship. Wells Adams even officiated Joe Amabile’s second wedding ceremony with Serena Pitt.
As the show’s bartender/therapist, Wells Adams played a role in the two forming a connection on Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise.
Now the two men are teaming up together for a new venture. They’ve partnered with the Diageo brand for a ready-to-serve Cocktail Collection. They spoke to Us Weekly earlier this week to promote the brand.

But they weren’t all business. Joe Amabile and Wells Adams weighed in on various Bachelor Nation topics, including the rumored Golden Bachelorette spinoff.
Surprisingly, they disagree over which of Gerry Turner’s contestants should get another chance at love as the lead of the spinoff.
Joe Amabile’s Golden Bachelorette Pick
Bachelor Nation fans are divided over the choice for Golden Bachelorette. Many names have been thrown in the ring, including third-place contestant Faith Martin and runner-up Leslie Fhima.
Many fans feel Gerry Turner treated Leslie unfairly and want her to find love. Joe Amabile agrees with them.
“I think if they do a Golden Bachelorette, it should be Leslie. I really do…Leslie was someone who is all in,” he said.
“Unfortunately, Gerry did open up to her in the fantasy suites and make promises that he did not keep. To be final two and to really think, like, you’re one and then not to be is really rough,” the BIP alum added about her time on the Golden Bachelor.
He went on to call the 64-year-old fitness trainer “personable” and “sweet.”

Wells Adams Thinks It Should Be This Person
Wells Adams, however, wants to give someone who left the show early a second chance. He nominated Joan Vassos as his Golden Bachelorette. She self-eliminated in Week 3 after a family emergency.
He told the outlet, “[With] Joan, I was like, ‘She should be the Golden Bachelorette, like, I got to know about how the daughter is doing, how’s the grandchild doing. What happened with the labor?'”
Wells Adams has also been a huge supporter of a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff.

I agree with Wells. Joan would make a great choice. She is a mature, well spoken, beautiful woman. Leslie, on the other hand, has “ISSUES”, and wouldn’t play out well on TV. You also could take someone totally unseen before, from potential candidates who contact the show. NO, to Leslie!!!!
She should be 65 or older to be golden.
Leslie lost out on a chance for love so I believe she deserves another chance to find it.Give her a chance. She deserves it.
