‘Farmer Wants A Wife’ Meghan Baker Gives Relationship Update
Together with the news of the renewal of Season 2 and the breadcrumbs being left for its upcoming start date, fans are getting excited to see Farmer Wants A Wife again. Sadly, none of the Season 1 relationships ended in a proposal, but a few made lifelong connections. Recently, Season 1 contestant, Meghan Baker, gave an update about her dating life post reality TV. Notably, she has expressed the difficult side of dating while being in the public eye. But now she is sharing about her current relationship status.

Although Farmer Wants A Wife Season 1 was a hit for Fox, it wrapped up with multiple farmers picking their person but none of them ended with a proposal. While three of the four farmers pursued relationships after the show, they each went separate ways in the end. However, many of the connections made during the show have become lifelong friendships.

Meghan Baker Announces Her Relationship
On December 12, Farmer Wants A Wife star, Meghan Baker, took to social media to update fans about her current relationship status. Earlier this year, she and farmer Hunter Grayson called it quits. Although the two went their separate ways in June 2023, they were the couple that made it the longest. However, Meghan has received fan backlash for breaking Hunter’s heart and expecting him to give up his farm. While Season 1 touched on the issue, seemingly, there was more to the split than just location. Previously, the couple had stopped giving updates online since it was intrusive to their relationship and added unneeded pressure. In Meghan’s most recent update, she shares, “Facebook, meet Jesse.” Along with the introduction, she showed two photos with her, a guy, a puppy, and a dog in the background.

Fans Begin To Chatter About Meghan Baker’s Post
After the Farmer Wants A Wife participant posted her update, fans quickly chatted away. Many sent their congratulations to the couple. In response, several had well wishes for happiness. And a few sent questions about the new man in the photo.
- “Awwwwwww BOTH are Adorable and you glowing.”
- “So excited for you! The man and the puppers are both adorable!”
- “So happy for you Meghan Baker!! You deserve all the happiness in life!!”
- Clarifying, a few fans asked, “Is Jesse the new man or the pup? Both adorable.” Another responds, “Was thinking the same thing.” Following another person replies, “Me too except in her emojis there isn’t a dog hopefully she met herself a new farmer!” To which Meghan chimed in, “Rancher.”
- One commenter asked, “What happened with Hunter?” And got a quick retort from another user, “If you follow her, then you should know.”
- Another person got snarky, saying, “Let me guess he lives in your hometown.” And Meghan Baker sarcastically replies as if she didn’t realize the complications with long-distance relationships. She says, “Oh my gosh he doesn’t what ever will I do?!?” Someone back Meghan saying, “Love your response!! Just be happy or not say anything so happy for you.”

On Instagram, Meghan Baker made an almost identical post, just addressing Instagram instead of Facebook. Followers there also sent lots of love and good vibes to the Farmer Wants A Wife contestant. Several focused on the fact her new beau lives in a different state.
- “Meghan so happy for you! But a little confused, what happened to Hunter?” one commenter asks. One of her fans fields the question saying, “They decided to split way’s awhile ago there should be a post explaining things.” And another person poses a follow-up question, “But the question is, will she move to Texas?” But Meghan did not reply.
- When someone asks about Meghan finding her farmer, she replies, “I’ve learned in Texas they are called Ranchers.” But a commenter quickly says, “I’m just going to assume you know the difference.”
- Also revisiting one of the main issues fans were aware of during Hunter Grayson and Meghan Baker’s relationship, they say, “Hopefully, he lives close, so you two don’t break up.”
- Someone else says, “Hopefully you will be willing to move states for this one!” And Meghan replies, “Haha definitely depends on the person.”

The big premiere of Farmer Wants A Wife Season 2 is on Thursday, February 1 on Fox. It should air the next day on Hulu as well.
