Fans Trash Moriah Plath’s Music

On Reddit, several Welcome To Plathville fans discuss Moriah Plath’s music. One person wonders who is buying Moriah’s music. However, many fans in the comments were skeptical that she makes any money from her songs.

  • One person says, “She probably made like $3 and it’s all From her streaming her own music.”
  • However, someone else noted they were searching for “sad” music, and lo and behold, Moriah’s songs came up. They said, “I can’t remember what mix I clicked on of sad music, but her song ‘Circus’ was the first on the list. 🤣.”
  • Another viewer jabs, “It came up under sad songs because it’s sad that someone would make a song so bad. Their music is awful.”
  • “I have no clue how she did. I honestly thought her music was trash and would never listen to it unless it was on the show haha.” Additionally, other people wondered if TLC played her music enough that she was generating royalties from the show.

Call For New Stars

Even though there weren’t many compliments for Moriah Plath’s music, the original poster also suggested TLC consider highlighting two other Welcome To Plathville stars. Seemingly, many viewers don’t enjoy the Plath family’s style of music, but some want to hear more from Olivia Plath’s siblings, Nathan and Lydia Grace Meggs. Seemingly, they recall they played at the Cabo bar in Season 5 before Lydia Grace moved away.

The Redditor appreciates that Nathan is a “gentle soul” but doesn’t see eye to eye with his politics. However, some people were immediately against inviting Nathan to perform because he has made strong homophobic statements and is pro-MAGA.

Both Nathan and Lydia Grace Meggs seem to pursue music outside of the show. While they haven’t had as much time on Welcome To Plathville, as Moriah Plath, their talents could be explored in the future. Furthermore, Nathan had many videos on Instagram of him singing and playing guitar. Likewise, Lydia Grace shows some of her piano and fiddle playing. Additionally, she posted on Instagram about her National Classical Music Day appreciation.
