DWTS Season 32 Comes To An End
It’s been a whirlwind few months for Charity Lawson. After getting engaged to Dotun Olubeko on the August finale of The Bachelorette, her new fiance surprised her with huge news.
Lawson was named as a contestant on Season 32 of Dancing With The Stars. She was paired with pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev, who won Season 29 with Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe.
But Bristowe wasn’t the first Bachelor Nation star to win the dance competition. Bachelor Season 13 contestant Melissa Rycroft competed on Season 8 of DWTS, but didn’t win. She returned for Season 15 and left with the Mirrorball Trophy.
Bachelorette Hannah Brown (Season 15) competed and won Season 28 of DWTS. So, the pressure was on for Charity Lawson.
Throughout Season 32, fans thought Charity Lawson was scored unfairly compared to other contestants. Additionally, her brother accused the DWTS viewers of sending the reality star hateful messages.
While Lawson didn’t win, she came in fourth place.
Charity Shares Sweet Message To Dotun Olubeko
Competing on Dancing With The Stars is obviously hard on the body, but it can also affect the contestants’ personal relationships.
Charity Lawson and Dotun Olubeko barely had time to celebrate their engagement before she joined DWTS. However, her fiance was often spotted in the audience, cheering Lawson on.
Despite losing, Charity Lawson enjoyed the DWTS experience. She took to her social media to share her thoughts on the “the hardest thing” she’s ever done.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Lawson revealed what competing on the reality show meant for her. “I thank myself for going on this adventure everyday. I discovered so much about myself,” she wrote.
She gave a shout-out to her dance partner, Artem Chigvintsev, calling him “the best teacher.” Lawson credited him for her success. “[Chigvintsev] truly pushed me from day one to reach my potential because HE saw the best in me.”
Charity Lawson reserved space in her long caption to share a sweet message to her fiance. She thanked him, along with her family, for being the “best support system” for her.

Her Dancing Days Aren’t Over Yet
Charity Lawson also thanked the fans who voted for her. She revealed that she’s not done with DWTS just yet. The season may be over, but the dancing continues.
Along with Julianne Hough, Xochitl Gomez, Harry Jowsey, and select pros, Lawson will appear on the Dancing With The Stars Live Tour 2024.
Charity Lawson will join the tour on the February 6 dates through February 18.
