Julianne Hough embraces her need for physical affection
Julianne Hough has been part of the Dancing With The Stars universe almost since the beginning. She made her debut as a pro dancer in Season 4 and competed until Season 8. During that time, she brought home two Mirrorball Trophies. After that, she made occasional guest appearances on the show until coming back as a co-host in Season 32.
Now, Dancing With The Stars fans can see that Julianne is thrilled to be back in the ballroom. And what better way to show her appreciation than massive bear hugs?
“Embracing my love language one hug at a time 🥰,” Julianne captioned her Instagram reel. “I’ve been so intentional with what I do in my life and who I surround myself with that I can’t help but want to squeeze my friends tight when I get to see them. 🤍”
The sentiment seemed genuine. The vast majority of comments were overwhelmingly supportive of the physical displays of affection.
“The best hugger 🤗 Love you Jules ❤️” former pro dancer Kym Herjavec wrote in the comments.
But some of the hugs seemed a little intense for some viewers. While hugging a few of her male co-stars, Julianne Hough wraps her legs around them, forcing them to hold her up. In the clip, fans can see Julianne Hough hugging her co-host Alfonso Ribeiro this way while sporting very tight shorts.
“My brother would die to have Julianne jump on him like that,” one fan snidely wrote in the comments.
