On this day, Michael Halterman officially filed for divorce from the mother of his two sons. After the paperwork was filed, it didn’t take long before things got nasty. The TLC couple spent months duking it out in court regarding both divorce and custody of their sons.
Six months later, on September 6th, both their divorce and their custody battle were finalized. an agreement had been reached and the details had been worked out. Amy Slaton’s Divorce & Custody Battle Finalized: Details
Per court documents obtained by The Sun, the divorce has been finalized and the settlement agreement has been “approved” by the court. Moreover, Amy and Michael have been “ordered to obey” the agreement. Unfortunately, only the memo announcing the agreement has been leaked and the exact details of the divorce settlement have not been made public at this time.
It, however, has been confirmed that Michael Halterman and Amy Slaton will share split custody of their sons Gage and Glenn. It was back in March that the couple agreed to a shared parenting schedule. This schedule allowed both parents to arrange things to maximize the amount of time they got to spend with their sons.
She’s Already Moved On
Shockingly, Amy Slaton did NOT wait for her divorce from Michael Halterman to be finalized before moving on with a new man. It was about a month prior to her divorce being finalized that news broke of her new love interest. She was reportedly getting to know a man from Battle Creek, Michigan named Tony.
When news of this love interest broke, however, a source close to Amy spilled some shocking beans. Amy Halterman had allegedly been dating Tony for three months. So, this means she started dating Tony just two months after the father of her children filed for divorce in March.
Michael Halterman, on the other hand, has seemingly kept a pretty low profile. There haven’t been many Michael sightings. Moreover, as far as fans know, there aren’t any new love interests in his life right now.
