Bill Avery Tries To Act Cool About Deception

That is because he sold his homestead to Madeline (Stefanie von Pfetten) with hopes that she would stay in town. He was really starting to care for her, but now he feels betrayed.
But, Bill is not so preoccupied with his hurt ego to not notice that Montague (Benjamin Wilkinson) is up to no good.
WCTH Episode Shows Elizabeth On Edge
Bill Avery is not the only one concerned about Montague. Elizabeth is also preoccupied with him. Instead of focusing on her wedding in six weeks, she is now getting herself involved in something very dangerous.
