My 600-lb Life Season 7 alum Annjeanette Whaley had one of the most interesting journeys in the series. She appeared in the show at nearly 680 pounds and mostly relied on her girlfriend for her daily life. The Hillsboro native knew that it was going to cost her if she continued with her unhealthy lifestyle. Due to this, she sought Dr. Now’s help and has made significant changes to herself. My 600-lb Life: Annjeannette Whaley’s Weight Loss
Annjeannette set her “miserable” childhood aside when she began to pursue weight loss goals. With a strict diet and exercise, she was able to shed enough weight to qualify for gastric bypass surgery. After the operation, the My 600-lb Life alum lost even more pounds. According to her last reported weight loss, she dropped over 270 pounds within 12 months of working with Dr. Now.
She has also expressed aiming for much better results after the show. In November 2021, the former reality TV personality shared a sweet photo with Erica showing off her slim figure.
Annjeanette Marries Erica After Major Bumps
Annjeanette and her girlfriend, Erica, had a bittersweet ending by the end of the 14th episode. The two called it quits just when things were going in the right direction. However, the two reconciled after the show and are now living happily as a married couple.
Annjeanette Whaley uploaded a naughty photo with her wife last year. It also appears that the two are still focusing on living a healthy life. Not much is known about their careers. But the My 600-lb Life alum has been using her social media to spread positivity. In August 2023, the former TLC star shared a lengthy biblical lesson about spending eternity in heaven. She even shares quick medical lessons. One of which is the autoimmune disease awareness post she did in March.
My 600-lb Life: Annjeanette Whaley Shuts Down Haters & Critics
In May 2020, Anjeanette expressed her frustration with the hate she’s been receiving. According to the My 600-lb Life alum, some people couldn’t get over reality shows and even attacked actors privately. She also added that she was upset about the criticism, saying she hasn’t made much progress with her weight loss journey. But she made it clear that she’s nowhere near done with her programs. “Walk a mile in my shoes, then come talk to me!!! My journey is nowhere near over, please know that I’m Doing this for me NOT you,” she added.
Anjeanette Whaley hasn’t had a return episode, unlike some of her batchmates. But some fans are not losing hope that she will soon surprise her followers with a major weight loss update.
