‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Reveals Severe Illness Has Taken Hubby Down

Mark Consuelos told viewers of Live with Kelly and Mark that he felt really excited about a new gig but shortly after that, he’s suffered from ill health. Therefore, Kelly Ripa did her Thursday show with Deja Vu, instead. Actually, it seems unusual for him to miss work, so what made him unwell enough to ghost the desk? Live Mark Consuelos’ Recent Injury

It’s not long ago, that the new co-host of the ABC show wore a splint on his finger. That happened after he hurt himself when playing a game of beach volleyball. Later, he took himself and his injured finger off on his new gig as the Grand Marshall of the 77th East LA Mexican Independence Day parade. Because of his Mexican heritage on his dad’s side, he really seemed to be excited and very honored. Did he catch something from the crowd that made him ill?

Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa seem fit and strong, and he got medical attention for his injury. Therefore, it’s probably not an infection from that injury. People don’t mind that instead of her husband, Kelly partnered with Deja Vu, the resident DJ. They know her because she often steps in and co-hosts However, they are probably concerned about Kelly’s hubby. after she told them that her man felt unwell. A lot of people love the way he settled into his new role on Live with Kelly and Mark. Of course, it also meant that nobody could try and stump him in the trivia segment.

Mark Consuelos Falls Ill

The Sun reported that the host “kicked off the show, telling fans: ‘Filling in for Mark today is our own Deja Vu! Poor Mark, he tried to power through.” Next, she explained what happened and it sounded a little bit alarming. Apparently, he told her that he wanted to do the show, but she decided that wasn’t going to happen. In their discussion before work, Kelly told him, “I really feel like you need to go back to bed. You look and sound terrible. And also, please get out of this room.”

Mark Consuelos probably fell ill the day before. That’s because he opted to sleep in one of the adult kids’ bedrooms. The alarming bit came because his wife told the audience on Live, “He’s got a fever, and that to me always signals something else. But he’s like, ‘I tested negative for everything so I’m fine!” Most likely, his wife made the correct decision though.

Could It Be The Coronavirus?

Mark Consuelos got himself tested, but maybe he will get another one just to make sure. Mainstream media covers stories about a new variant stateside. Some celebs fell ill with it already, including Whoopi Goldberg. She;’s better now and soon returned to The View. Fans of Live with Kelly and Mark would like to see him back at the desk as soon as possible as well.
