Travis Barker Breaks Silence On Baby Emergency
Travis Barker is breaking his silence on the baby emergency that sent his wife, Kourtney Kardashian to the hospital. It also forced him to leave his Blink-182 early, abandon ship, and race home to his family. So, what is the famed drummer saying? Read on for more details on the situation.
Travis Barker Breaks Silence On Baby Emergency
Last week, Travis Barker left his bandmates in Blink-182 to fly home due to a family emergency. Immediately, fans assumed that Kourtney Kardashian had gone into labor with their son. It seemed like everything was fine with his other two children, Alabama and Landon Barker from a previous marriage. So, what was going on? Additionally, Kourt’s family was still living their best lives and partying as usual. In fact, Kris Jenner, Khloe, and Kourtney’s daughter, Penelope just took in a Beyonce concert. Around the same time, Kourtney and Travis were spotted exiting the hospital.
Earlier on September 6th, Kourtney released a statement via social media as to what had been going on. Essentially, her doctors saved her unborn baby’s life and that is why Travis Barker flew home. She thanked both her husband and her mother for being right by her side. Now, Travis is speaking out regarding what they just went through. Additionally, he gave a tour update for those who wondered if the show would go on.
God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.

Fans immediately responded to Travis’ tweet.

He also included a photo of holding Kourtney’s hand on his Instagram, seemingly while she was in the hospital. The hardest part will be the distance and if something else were to happen. However, the band does have a hiatus from September 21st through October 3rd. Hopefully, everything will be okay until then and the doctor has given Travis assurance that he can go on tour and Kourt is in good hands.
The Due Date
Fans have tried to guess Kourtney’s due date based on Blink-182’s hiatus and they believe that is when she will give birth. Or, possibly have a scheduled C-section to ensure Travis Barker will be there. At this point, all that matters is that their baby is safe, Travis was able to come home, and hopefully, everything stays peaceful until he is back home again.
