Vanna White Still In Contract Battle, Demands Not Met
Wheel of Fortune co-hostess Vanna White is still in a contract battle as her demands are still not being met. She has been on the game show for over forty years. Now, she is standing up for what she feels she is worth yet it seems like she is not going to get what she wants. At least not without a fight. So, what exactly is the holdup? Read on for more details.
Vanna White Still In Contract Battle, Demands Not Met
A short time back, Vanna White went to battle because she wanted to make more money. More so, she wanted close to, if not as much as Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak made. The travesty was that she had not gotten a raise in nearly two decades and was only making three million dollars per year. Sajak, for his part, makes five times that amount so this has been troubling for Vanna and understandably so. Now, with Pat getting ready to depart after Season 41, Vanna is making sure her voice is heard but it is a lot more difficult than she ever could have anticipated.
Vanna White was recently out and was replaced by someone else which was a little suspicious. There is also no clear answer if she will stay on after Pat Sajak exits. Now, according to The Sun, Vanna’s contract is still up in the air. This is per the Daily Mail. Therefore, with no confirmed contract, the letter-turner cannot go forward with her longtime job. Interestingly enough, an insider shared that: “there are a few hiccups to resolve.”
They went on to add: “They both know they have a lot of time to do it and more discussions to be had but everyone wants something achieved and wouldn’t want Pat’s last year hampered by the constant news of the revolving contract dispute drama. They want to celebrate this year with little to no drama whatsoever.” As to how easy that will really be is yet to be seen.
The Last One?
It seems that one sidenote for this contract is the players at Wheel of Fortune seem to want it to be Vanna White’s final one. The insider explained that it is extremely important to seamlessly move from Pat Sajak to the new host Ryan Seacrest. Then, in a few years, they would like to faze Vanna out. Having all of this discussed prior to presenting and signing the potentially final contract would make everyone’s life easier. Of course, there is still the matter of money and it seems that the series just won’t bend on this. So, Vanna might be holding out for a long time to come.
Do you think that the show should just give her what she wants as she has been loyal for four decades? Let us know in the comments below.

Canna is a model and turns letters. She get 3 million a year for that. She tried Pats job when he was sick. I was so embarrassed for her I didn’t watch again until Pat came back. She should just retire. She’s not worth what she’s asking.
