‘Welcome To Plathville’ Max Kallschmidt Engaged
Welcome to Plathville star Max Kallschmidt is engaged! Moriah Plath’s ex-boyfriend has moved on with a new girl, and now, he’s taking another huge step. Scroll down for all of the details, including fans’ reactions, and be sure to check out the gorgeous proposal pictures he shared with TLC fans.
Fans will remember Max, Moriah’s ex-boyfriend, from the TLC series. Their relationship came to an end after he cheated on her. Though he no longer appears on the show, fans do enjoy keeping up with him on social media.
As we reported in May, Max has a new lady in his life. Her name is McKayle and she has a young daughter, Esther Kate. Now, Max has taken things to the next level.
Max Kallschmidt pops the question.
On Instagram on Tuesday, August 22, Max revealed that he’s now engaged! He asked his girlfriend, McKayle, to marry him, and she said yes! He explained to fans that he’s been trying to find a “grand vision” in his life. He admitted that he’s been on many crooked paths along the way, but all of the ups and downs led him to McKayle.
The Welcome to Plathville star said, “When looking in retrospect I realize that every step of my life has prepared and built me to take on this beautifully amazing journey with these two gorgeous gals 🤩 and to walk through this journey together.”
Then, he gushed, “McKayle, you guide me as a loving best friend and I couldn’t be more grateful to God for walking you into my life, especially at the time that He did ❤️ thank you for loving me and showing me what real mature love is.”
Max Kallschmidt added that he’s looking forward to being a part of Esther’s life as well. He explained that he feels at peace and shared how excited he feels to be McKayle’s husband soon.

Welcome to Plathville fans react to the big news.
In response to his post, Max’s followers are congratulating him and McKayle on their exciting news. Fans also love the gorgeous photos in the post.
Some of Max’s followers aren’t impressed by this news, however. One even asked if McKayle was the girl that he cheated on Moriah with. Someone else said, “Don’t trust him. He acted the same way with Moriah.”
Nonetheless, Max and McKayle are very happy and can’t wait for the next chapter together.
