The Season 8 premiere will be here in no time. The first episode of the new season is slated to air on HGTV on Tuesday, August 15. It’s sure to be another exciting season as Mina and her mom, Karen Laine, tackle projects in Fountain Square in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The duo first started their business, Two Chicks and a Hammer, in 2007. They then got their own show in 2016 and have transformed many dilapidated properties into stunning homes.

On the latest episode of her podcast, Mina AF, the Good Bones star revealed dropped a major announcement. Sadly, Good Bones is coming to an end after Season 8 airs. The HGTV series has been around since 2016, and it’s been a fan favorite. But all good things must come to an end.
In her pre-recorded podcast episode, the HGTV star explained, “Today, I filmed my last few pickups for Good Bones. Not Good Bones season 8, but for Good Bones. So it is official, that’s a wrap, folks.”
The mom of two added, “It’s the end of an era. I mean, I had to say goodbye to some people today that I have spent my last almost 10 years with.”
Of course, fans are sad to hear that the show is coming to an end. Fortunately, via social media, viewers can enjoy keeping up with Mina. And it may not be long before she kicks off another project. So, be on the lookout to see how she occupies her time moving forward. On Instagram, she recently announced that she is the Chief Design and Build Officer at Character, a home improvement company.
