Season 25 is inching closer, and it’s about time for show host Julie Chen Moonves to take us on a walk down memory lane to revisit the past 24 Seasons’ most memorable moments. Here’s what we know so far, and what we don’t know.

Fans Speculate About The Return Of After Dark

Before we get to the big date, we have to talk about the big buzz this summer about the next season of Big Brother.

Fans are clamoring to know whether or not this year’s season will see the return of the beloved after-show companion, Big Brother: After Dark. BBAD was the between-show bonus that kept fans satiated between episodes. The raunchy and frequently NSFW show provided fans an unprecedented peek into the “off-camera” lives of their favorite houseguests.

However, after Big Brother Season 21, the bonus show disappeared. Fans were immediately upset and asked when they could expect their favorite to make a return. However, their questions were in vain because the show remained canceled. Then earlier this month, a Twitter user claiming to be in the know shared that BBAD would be making a return. Although they did not cite their sources, it would make sense. Considering the writer’s strike in Hollywood, networks are eager for more reality tv shows to air. It would be the perfect time for BBAD to make a comeback.

And that comeback could come just in time to make a companion for Big Brother Season 25.

Here’s what we know about Big Brother Season 25, and what we don’t know.

We know that the show will debut on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. And tonight, CBS will air a recap of the best moments from the past 24 seasons. Host Julie Chen Moonves and former house guests will join the fun at 9 PM EST. The episode will feature interviews and promised behind-the-scenes peeks into the next season.

Fans should get a look into the next season’s house design, and perhaps more info about what to expect. We currently do not know any details about the Season 25 cast, but that info should land soon, if not tonight. Season 25 houseguests are likely under interview embargoes until Monday or Tuesday of next week. And last-minute cast swaps are always a possibility. So sometime between now and the moment it airs, we’ll know who’s showing up for Season 25.
