Andy Cohen Jokes As Ozempic Takes Over Bravo
Bravo executive Andy Cohen is trying to joke as Ozempic is seemingly taking over the network. The prescription diabetes 2 medication is now being used for weight loss among celebrities and reality stars. It also seems to be sweeping Bravo and Cohen has decided to make light of it. What exactly is he saying? Read on for more details.
Andy Cohen Jokes As Ozempic Takes Over Bravo
It seems that any time an actress or reality star drastically loses weight, they are accused of using Ozempic. RHOBH star Kyle Richards has had a major slim-down recently. Though she always said she works out, this was quite dramatic. Richards eventually addressed the accusations of her using the diabetes drug to lose weight. It has also been questioned if RHOC Gina Kirschenheiter is taking Ozempic. The only housewife who has actually come clean and confessed to using is Dolores Catania of RHONJ. She has not only undergone plastic surgery but is now staying slim with the medication.
According to Page Six, Andy Cohen is now joking about the idea of The Real Housewives of Ozempic. This was spawned by creative genius and author Gary Janetti. More so, he tends to put relatable memes on Instagram and did one that said: “This summer on Bravo, The Real Housewives of Ozempic.” Rather than defend the women of the network, Cohen jumped in and said: “It’s already airing.” Andy Cohen admits that he has no qualms about asking his WWHL guests, often stars of Bravo shows if they are on the diabetes drug.
“I’m trying to deliver the goods for my audience watching. I mean, if Dolores shows up looking 15 pounds lighter, I gotta find out how it happened,” he shared. This came around the time Dolores Catania came on WWHL looking quite slim and he openly asked her about Ozempic. She was honest and said yes. However, the RHONJ star did have to share her reasons for using it on Page Six’s podcast after the fact: “There are layers. I’m going through menopause, I have a thyroid issue, I have inflammation and weight is hard to take off.”
Ozempic Takes Bravo
Though Kyle Richards has denied taking Ozempic and Pump Rules star Lala Kent wants people to stop promoting it, there are more Bravo-lebrities who openly have tried the drug. Shahs of Sunset alum Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi lost too much weight on it. Lauren Manzo, formerly of RHONJ fame, also admitted to using it as she had a hard time losing the last of her weight. Though many may deny it, it is still up in the air who is being transparent and who is hiding behind the Ozempic veil.
Do you think more Bravo stars are using it than they are willing to admit? More so, what do you think of Andy Cohen joking about the fad? Let us know in the comments below.
