Tom Schwartz fears filming “volatile” Vanderpump Rules Season 11. It seems that cameras are getting ready to go up sooner rather than later. Yet, after what happened when the cast had to quickly start filming again back in March after ‘Scandoval’ emerged and then at the reunion, Schwartz has his fur up. So, what is he most fearful about? Tom Schwartz Fears Filming ‘Volatile’ Season 11
After filming ended on Season 10 in September 2022, the Vanderpump Rules cast thought they were in the clear until the reunion. Then, it came out that Tom Sandoval was having an affair with Raquel Leviss. This was despite the fact he had been with Ariana Madix for nine years and she was best friends with Leviss. Cameras went right back up in March 2023 to capture every breaking moment and the reunion was epic. Of course, the series was renewed for Season 11 yet it was unclear who would be back.
According to Us Weekly, Tom Schwartz opened up about the upcoming season while discussing his current series, Stars On Mars. In reference to Pump Rules, he noted: “I’m always slightly terrified when we start a new season. We’ve been through so much with this group and we’re a volatile crew.” The TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner went on to add: “We’ve always been a volatile group of friends. I don’t think I’ve ever had an argument outside of this group, to be honest. We have a lot of history together and there’s been trials and tribulations, but it comes from a place of love.”
Ultimately, despite all of his fears, Tom Schwartz is “grateful” to be a part of a show that has been running for a decade. Though he was not a series regular from the beginning, he was always on the show. His now ex-wife, Katie Maloney is an OG and they had been dating back in Season 1. Eventually, he made his way to the opening credits and as a regular cast member. In Season 10, he and Tom Sandoval were the featured cast members in the opening intro.
A New Tom?
So, what can fans expect from Tom Schwartz in the new season? For nine seasons, he was with Katie Maloney, and then in Season 10, he kissed Raquel Leviss. Plus, he faced a lot of hate for standing by Sandoval despite his affair. It seems that he has taken a step back from his former bestie and the ‘Scandoval’ drama. Will there be a new Schwartzy? “I feel like I’ll be a little more stoic moving forward, Maybe I waffled a little bit at the beginning of [Scandoval]. I retreated within,” he explained. He’s also seeing that he needs to fall in love with himself so this should be an interesting evoltion if he can stick to it.
