‘Today:’ Al Roker Fans Alarmed By Live Broadcast, Is He Well?

Al Roker is considered the prized gem of The Today Show cast. He has fans and followers aplenty. His massive following was terrified during his scary medical emergency and hospitalization involving blood clots last year. There was a period of time when his fans even braced for the possibility that he would soon be dead.

The meteorologist, however, made a miraculous recovery and his followers couldn’t have been more pleased. Concern mounted again recently, however, when his followers learned he was in need of surgery. Fans’ thoughts and prayers were also with his beautiful and supportive wife Deborah Roberts who stood by him during all of this.

Now, Al Roker is back and fans can enjoy him on set at The Today Show after recovering from surgery. A recent live broadcast of the show, however, sent alarming shockwaves through Al Roker’s fanbase. Is he doing alright? Why are fans so concerned? Keep reading for the details.

The air quality for a large chunk of the United States has been pretty rough this week due to massive amounts of smoke. The poor air quality originated from the forest fires in Canada. New York, which is where The Today Show is filmed, just happens to be one of the states with poor air quality right now.

So, viewers of the show were a bit alarmed to see Al Roker standing outside on the plaza as he reported of the weather conditions. Viewers of The Today Show were pretty quick to take to social media to express their concerns and order the talk show bosses to bring Al Roker back inside.

Most were in agreement Al Roker could have reported the same weather information from the safety of being indoors.
