A few hours ago, Paris Hilton took to Instagram to break so upsetting news to her 23.7M followers. Her beloved dog, Harajuku B*tch, passed away. Now, at first glance, the post looks like Paris is sharing a cluster of adorable photos of herself and her beautiful furbabies. Paris’ Instagram followers assume her friend Chanel West Coast left a tone-deaf comment in response to the post because she saw the cute photos of the furbabies, but didn’t bother to read the actual caption revealing the heartbreaking news.

Now, Paris’ followers were pretty quick to respond to what Chanel West Coast penned. They were horrified she would comment on how cute the dog was given she had just passed away.

One fan quickly fired back asking why Chanel thought it was “cute” that Paris’ dog died. Others pointed out it was painfully obvious that Chanel left this embarrassing comment without bothering to read what Paris actually posted.

At this time, it has been about an hour since Chanel West Coast left the comment on Paris’ profile. She has not come back to explain or to delete it. Unfortunately for the MTV personality, the damage has already been done as many have seen and taken screenshots of this shocking response to Paris’ dog passing away.

At the very least, fans of Paris Hilton hope Chanel will consider apologizing after realizing the mistake she made leaving this thoughtless comment in response to Paris paying tribute to her deceased furbaby.
