Recently, a Reddit poster asked, “Why isn’t Ryan Paevey in more Hallmark movies?” They pointed out that he is underused by the network. Moreover, he can sing, build things, surf, and more. What gives?
Many posters agreed. One asked, “Ryan Paevey didn’t go over to the GAC channel did he? I would be really upset if he did because Jesse Metcalfe left hope Ryan didn’t leave too….”
A couple of people mentioned that the Unleashing Mr. Darcy star did not leave Hallmark and that he signed an exclusive multi-picture contract with Hallmark. He is not about to leave Hallmark for GAF.
One fan even commented how Ryan has been outspoken about liking the direction Hallmark is now taking.

Reddit Posters Want General Hospital Alum To Star In Mystery Island
Now that it is confirmed that Ryan Paevey is definitely working for Hallmark, his fans are trying to cast him in a new role. In that Reddit thread, someone mentioned that Ryan Paevey would be a great detective in a Hallmark mystery. Another suggested that Paevey would be perfect for Mystery Island.
Wait! What is Mystery Island?
This is a new Hallmark mystery written by John Christian Plummer, the Mystery 101 scriptwriter. He told the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast about this mystery. It is about the son of a “famous deceased mystery novelist like Agatha Christie.” He lives on a Caribbean island, in a mansion, and lives in a “playground for the super-rich.” There, they play a murder game at his grand tropical estate. The screenwriter left it at that.
Although he talked about this movie in early April, Hallmark had not cast this movie. Yet, JCP did reveal that Hallmark had to start producing this before hurricane season.
While Reddit posters were keen on the idea of Ryan Paevey in a tropical role, looking very regal, likely attired in garments for the beach, and perhaps even a little haughty in his detective role, nothing has been announced. Lastly, someone on the social media platform suggested “Shirtless Mysteries.”
Most of all, he sounds pretty perfect. Can Sleuthers be in charge of this casting?

What Is Ryan Paevey’s Next Project?
Currently, IMDb does not list anything new for Ryan. However, there is always a good chance that he has been filming something that has yet to be announced. Because in general, Ryan makes about two movies a year. There is bound to be some news soon.
What does the actor do in his spare time? When he is not filming movies, he is making cool jewelry, building containers, and riding his bike. In addition, he takes photos of nature, where he feels more centered away from the LA chaos.
But what he is not doing is making movies for GAF.

Hallmark isn’t using Ryan or any of the fan favorites, They are producing movies, with new actors who have no talent and could not act their way out of a paper bag.
Hallmark movies are getting so bad, that we keep giving Hallmark a chance to be great again and bring back the fan favorite actors or we won’t be watching that channel.
