Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird found out about her mother, Mama June’s vow renewal from an unlikely source. As it is, she had no idea that her mother had even gotten married the first time around. So, to hear there was another wedding on the horizon was quite a shock. Yet, how she heard it was even more jaw-dropping. Read on for more details.

Pumpkin Learns About Mama June Wedding From Unlikely Source

When Mama June married her boyfriend, Justin Stroud after six months of dating, fans were shocked. More so, her daughters had no idea she got married until Pumpkin received the wedding receipt in the mail. Plus, June allegedly never told her kids she had moved to Alabama with Justin. Now, she and Justin are planning this lavish wedding and they want June’s four girls involved despite the strained relationship that she has with them. They are already mad at June because she is not helping out enough with Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson financially and keeps disappearing.

According to yahoo!, People has a clip of this week’s episode of Mama June: Family Crisis. As wedding plans are underway, it is time to get the girls involved. June tells Pumpkin that she wants all of her kids there to celebrate in her big day. Yet, Pumpkin is mad about the way that she found out and challenges June. “Why the f— am I finding out from Justin’s mother you’re going to have a ceremony and f—ing bridal shower?” Pumpkin asks.

Mama June fires back by saying that she did not think his family would go so far as to reach out to the girls on social media. Pumpkin chimes in with: “That’s annoying as f—. It would be nice to hear from the horse’s mouth.” Of course, she asks her mother how she will afford such a wedding without money. June maintains that they will stick to a budget so as to not go over. Roll back the tape and June can be seen saying that she wants a wedding with all the bells and whistles.

Will The Girls Go?

Pumpkin is not having it. She feels that Mama June only pulls the budget card when it comes to Alana and not herself. Eventually, Pumpkin shares she will not be a guest at the shower. “I already have plans for the bridal shower. So unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it but Doe Doe [June’s sister] says she’s gonna come.” As to why Pumpkin claims she cannot make it, she lets her mom know that she has five kids she needs to tend to. More so, one of those kids is Mama June’s so she is quite busy. Though Mama June says everyone is welcome, Pumpkin cannot wait for Justin’s family to find out who the real June is.
