‘DWTS’ Alexis Warr Breaks Silence About ‘Legend’ Len Goodman’s Seat
Alexis Warr of Dancing With The Stars is speaking out following Len Goodman’s death on who she thinks should take the legend’s place at the judging table. As DWTS fans know, Len Goodman was confirmed dead at the age of 78 on April 22nd. His cause of death was revealed to be losing his very private battle with bone cancer. Len’s shocking death came just months after fans learned he would be retiring as a DWTS judge.
Unsurprisingly, Len Goodman’s spot at the judging table is a big one that’s not easy to fill. His shocking and tragic passing is only going to make the chair that much harder to fill.
So You Think You Can Dance champion Alexis Warr, however, has some thoughts on what should happen.
DWTS: Alexis Warr speaks out on filling Len Goodman’s seat
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Alexis Warr admits Len Goodman’s death came as a total shock. She was heartbroken as she had no idea he was battling bone cancer.
The 22-year-old gushed about how amazing Len Goodman was: “He was such a legend in the ballroom world, in the ballroom community and with the show, like, he was iconic. All of our hearts are breaking over the news.”
The DWTS professional dancer admitted to The Sun that she trusts the bosses to make the right decision as far as what to do about the empty seat at the judging table. She, however, did toss out the idea that they didn’t necessarily need to replace Len Goodman with anyone. Alexis Warr suggested they just bring back Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli, keeping the judging table at three strong.
“But yeah, I really love … Carrie Ann and Derek and Bruno and I think that if they choose to keep the three- amazing, if they choose to add a fourth- amazing. I just really trust their decisions with all of that.”
Ultimately, however, she thought whatever decision was made would be “amazing.”
Other DWTS fans have had this idea
There have been many fans (especially following his death) who have come forward to suggest just not replacing Len Goodman with anyone. Many fans believe replacing Len Goodman is an insult to his name as there aren’t many who could fill his shoes properly at the table anyway. Likewise, there is the question of whether the replacement would be well-received by anyone.
