Billie Lee & Tom Sandoval hookup rumors

Back in 2019, Billie Lee abruptly quit the Bravo series. This came amid the rumors that she hooked up with Tom Sandoval, which was quickly swept under the rug. Keep in mind that social media wasn’t like it is now — especially in the Bravoverse. What also contributed to Billie quitting the show was her not “vibing” with the cast. An insider told HollywoodLife.com that Billie “never signed a contract,” which made it easy for her to leave.

“Billie Lee was struggling with handling the drama that comes with being a cast member on Vanderpump Rules,” the source told HollywoodLife.com at the time. “It was truly messing with her mental health well-being. She was also having trouble vibing with the other cast members except for Sandoval, James Kennedy, and Scheana Shay, so she wanted to go.”

Billie filmed a few episodes of Vanderpump Rules Season 8. She just wasn’t a full-time cast member, so she didn’t have to wear a mic if she didn’t want to. Producers asked her to take part in the hookup storyline involving Sandoval and she refused. They planned for it to become the main storyline for Season 8.

Billie refused to wear a mic during Tom Sandoval’s birthday party. She “let the producers” know that she wouldn’t return to the show. However, she remained friends with Sandoval and Ariana Madix. Since the “Scandoval” broke, Billie spent time with Sandoval and even slept over at his house.

Scheana Shay believes the rumors

During Friday’s episode of Dear Media’s Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, the host spoke to her guest Peter Madrigal. During the hour-long episode, they answered fans’ questions and reacted to the explosive Vanderpump Rules Season 10 finale trailer. One fan asked Scheana Shay and Peter what they thought about the Billie Lee and Tom Sandoval hookup rumors.

Peter wasn’t sure what to think. Scheana Shay says she now believes the rumors. She confirmed that she heard about the rumors when Billie was on the show in Season 8. Scheana explained the situation to Peter, who also believes it. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the Bravo star also believes that Sandoval cheated on Ariana more than once.
