It is not looking great for Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird. She has been called out for her filthy mouth. Plus, she is not raising her sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson the best. Initially, fans thought that she was a great choice of guardian for the teenager. Unfortunately, Alana has morphed into an unrecognizable promotion machine with a toxic tongue. One notable moment for Pumpkin and Alana was when the latter’s boyfriend, Dralin was arrested. They spoke so vilely about their fans that some called for their firing from the new season of Mama June: Family Crisis.

Now, Pumpkin is raising eyebrows once again but this time it is for putting one of her kids in a dangerous situation. Flaunting a new septum piercing in a TikTok video, Pumpkin is talking about her children while mouthing words to a song. She is also making gun movements with her hands. However, what fans noticed was her baby in the back. They immediately took to Reddit to ring the alarm. It appeared to be one of her twins who won’t turn one until later this month. The OP started out with: “Looks like she’s forwarded facing with the dona. That’s totally not safe.”

“right. even in a toddler car seat which can be properly forward facing they should not be at their size & age. even if they were technically able to be forward facing, infant car seats (which the doona is) should NEVER be forward facing, no matter if the kid in the car seat meets requirements or not,” another added. “I noticed that too! I’m surprised she didn’t put her eldest in the middle. She is too busy selling pens to worry about car seats,” one said.

Not Surprised

Interestingly enough, there were some who were not surprised by this behavior. In fact, it seemed that they expected it from Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird. One pointed out how there were several times on Road to Redemption when Pumpkin’s eldest, Ella was not properly secured into her seat. Others called her names while one noted how it was illegal how the baby was facing. So, there is a lot to unpack here. If this makes it onto the show, is that considered neglect? Only time will tell but hopefully, they actually were not going anywhere and just sitting and filming.
