Now that all 10 episodes have aired, will there be a Season 2? We have the latest news, but no spoilers.
Will There Be Daisy Jones & The Six Season 2?
Has the magical world of Daisy Jones & The Six ended? Will there be a second season? On Friday, ET spoke to different stars of the series, as well as executive producer, Brad Mendelsohn. The EP contends that they did the job. They covered the entire book.
Season 1, we did the book from cover to cover.
However, Riley Keough has a different opinion. “It does leave you hanging.” While leaving stories unfinished may work for a novel, this is a television series and viewers tend to want to see all the stories completed.
Stars Want To See More Of Karen And Graham
The stars of Amazon Prime’s Daisy Jones & The Six have one story that got more attention. That was Daisy and Billy’s story. Next, they want to see more of Karen and Graham’s emotional love story. Camila Morrone shared, “Karen and Graham need to come back for a season 2”
Even executive producer Scott Neustadter has to agree, citing that “There’s more to this story.”
Sam Claflin, who has some of his own ideas for a second season, thinks that “Maybe Taylor Jenkins really needs to write another book.” Perhaps she needs to bring a notepad and talk to the Enola Holmes star. He revealed he has “already pitched” his own take on what should be in Season 2.
Has Amazon Decided On Daisy Jones & The Six Season 2?
Currently, Amazon has not renewed Daisy Jones & The Six for Season 2. Nor does it sound like Taylor Jenkins Reid has written any sort of outline for another season. But, the entire cast wants to return and work together again. Moreover, there is an opportunity to dig deeper into their character’s pasts, as well as what happens after the band breaks up.
Most of all, this has been a magical time for the stars of this Amazon series. Due to the worldwide pandemic, they could not film the series as originally planned. However, this allowed them to go home, learn their instrument and really prepare for when they did reunite.
Would you like to see Season 2? What story would you like to focus on? Are you happy with how Amazon adapted this hit book into a series?
