Earlier this week on The View, Sunny Hostin shared new details of her marriage. She called it “jacked up” and a “hot mess express.” Sunny says they used a “marriage audit” and she didn’t like what it revealed. Moderator Whoopi Goldberg brought up the question.

“I didn’t like this to be honest,” Sunny Hostin explained. “I started looking at this stuff and I was like, ‘Oh, my marriage is jacked up.”

The panel laughed, but she was serious. Sunny admits they have a “nice, beautiful marriage.” They’ve been married since 1998 and its come with its share of bumps.

Sunny looked at the marriage audit and realized they needed to improve their relationship. The couple doesn’t have many interests in common. There are times when they don’t bring up certain topics to avoid fights.

Sunny Hostin doesn’t discuss the jewelry she purchases. That’s when she realized that their marriage wasn’t all that perfect. The audit made her see things differently.

“So, that was just a whole list of stuff,” Sunny Hostin continued. “My marriage is a hot mess express. I didn’t like it.”

She didn’t like how the marriage audit made her feel. The rest of the panel shared their opinions on it. Whoopi joked that “there’s a reason why I’m single.”

This isn’t the first time that Sunny has been open about her marriage on the daytime talk show. She previously shared that she’s the breadwinner and spends most of their money. The lawyer has recently talked about their marriage behind the scenes with the live studio audience.

Last month, an eyewitness told The U.S. Sun that Sunny Hostin aired her marital woes during a commercial break. It took place during the Friday, February 24 episode of the talk show. Sunny broke out in a rant when they learned that there were Delta flight attendants in the audience.

She complained about not being able to fly “first class” on their trip to Ghana. Sunny said it was a miserable experience for their family. Her husband Emmanuel “Manny” Hostin was too cheap to upgrade their tickets. At one point, she shouted: “Cheap a** husband!”

“She was complaining about how the flight took 11 hours and she and her family were seated in the back of the plane going and coming,” the source told The U.S. Sun. “Sunny explained that it would’ve been expensive to buy four tickets because her kids were with her.”
