Hulu’s Only Murders In The Building has already begun filming Season 3. Moreover, they already have a big surprise. They have added a well-known Oscar winner to the cast which already includes Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

On Tuesday, Selena Gomez shared on her Instagram a video of the Only Murders In The Building cast. Gomez, who portrays Mabel Mora, announced that they are now filming Season 3. She showed Martin Short (Oliver Putnam), Steve Martin (Charles-Haden Savage), and even Paul Rudd, who portrays Ben Glenroy.
However, the big surprise was that Meryl Streep popped up at the end! The three-time Oscar winner popped out and everyone looked elated. Therefore, it is no surprise that Steve Martin had to post about this news.
Steve Martin wrote on Twitter, “The filming of Season 3 of “Only Murders in the Building” has begun! A cast to dream of.” He shared a black and white photograph of the five stars. They all had big smiles on their faces, especially Streep.
What is curious is that she is sporting two long braids. There is no doubt that she is going to create some major havoc on screen!
What Is Meryl Streeps Role In Only Murders In The Building?
Currently, there is no information on what roles The Devil Wears Prada star will have. However, a star of Streep’s caliber will certainly offer more great storytelling and opportunities for deep dives into Charles, Oliver, and Mabel’s pasts.
Whether she has a recurring or a lead role, Streep has the talent to affect different accents, and do comedic roles, and real drama. This promises to be a lot of fun. Most of all, it looks like the cast is already having fun. This show is always full of surprises, and the cast already looks delighted.

Season 2 Of Hulu Hit Ended With New Murder
Only Murders In The Building is a comedy-drama series that revolves around Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, all obsessed with the podcast All Is Not Ok In Oklahoma. Soon, the trio start their own podcast after Tim Kong (Julian Cihi), a resident is murdered at the magnificent Arconia, the Upper West Side building where they all live.
In Season 2, they solve the murder of Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell), who was the building’s antagonistic board president.
However, at the end of Season 2, there was a time jump. Oliver finally got a fabulous Broadway directorial gig. Starring in his production is Charles, as well as Ben. However, the trio finds themselves involved in another murder, as Ben dies on stage!
