As TvShowsAce previously reported, Khloe Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson has just suffered a tragic loss. His mother, Andrea, reportedly passed away yesterday. Sources close to the family have confirmed to TMZ and other outlets that Andrea suffered a heart attack at home. She was rushed to the hospital and attempts were made to revive her. Unfortunately, she passed away.

Reports confirm that Tristan Thompson traveled to Toronto as quickly as he could to be with his family. Fortunately, reports also confirm he did not make this difficult journey alone. Khloe Kardashian is no longer romantically linked to Tristan. Though, there have been rumors the two were back together swirling off and on.

And, Tristan has openly admitted to wanting her back. Despite the drama, rumors, and lack of a confirmed romantic link, Khloe and Tristan do share two children together. And, the Kardashian-Jenner family has always been known to come together during times of struggle.

So, most weren’t too surprised to see the sudden death of Tristan’s mother sent Khloe Kardashian rushing to his side to travel to Toronto with him. In response to this gesture, fans thought it was incredibly thoughtful for her to help her ex navigate these difficult times.

Speaking to E! News, someone close to the family noted that Khloe hoped she could comfort Tristan. Moreover, the source added that Khloe Kardashian was extremely close to Tristan Thompson’s mother Andrea. So, this sudden and unexpected death hit her pretty hard too.

The insider went on to note that regardless of their romantic status, Tristan would always be the father of Khloe’s children. So, her family would always be there for him when he needed them.

Unsurprisingly, fans have already begun to pour into the comments of Tristan’s most recent Instagram posts to pay their respects. Some have dug deep into his profile to look for photos of his mother to comment on. Tristan was extremely close to his mother and posted about her often.
