Danielle has been sharing updates with her fans on Instagram. In a recent blog post, she talked about “losing so much.”

Danielle Colby “lost” the desire to work again

The History Channel star returned to Patreon to share another blog post. Danielle Colby admitted that she had “lost” her “desire to work.” This is on the heels of the news that the cast of American Pickers is filming a new season. For the first time ever, she won’t be featured on the reality series.

Danielle admitted that she lost the passion she once had. The post-surgery recovery has been “emotionally taxing” on her. Danielle found her motivation through an unlikely source. She sought inspiration from burlesque dancer Chantel Capri who appeared on the show.

“I received an email from [Chantel’s] daughter, stating that her mom, Chantel Capri, was shown on the American Pickers episode featuring Blaze Fury,” Danielle Colby wrote in her Patreon blog post. “I had lost so much desire to work during this healing time and now I have some of my excitement back after reading this email.”

In her lengthy post, she admitted that work is even more “emotionally taxing” on most days than others. However, there are days when Danielle gets up in a positive mood and is “thrilled and excited to get to my ‘office.'”

“I guess that excitement means I’ve chosen the right career path,” Danielle Colby concluded.

This may come as a shock to fans of American Pickers. Yet, it’s unclear which work Danielle was referring to. Aside from appearing on the long-running series, she’s also a burlesque artist and content creator for the subscription service OnlyFans. Danielle has also shared her mental health struggles as she recovers.

American Pickers moves on without her

On an interesting note, the new season of American Pickers has moved on without her. Robert Wolfe confirmed that they’re filming the new season. He’s been filming alongside his brother Mike, who’s also shared updates on Instagram. Danielle Colby had to skip out this season due to her health.

This is the first time that Danielle won’t be appearing on the show. Earlier this year, rumors swirled that she could be leaving the series. However, she was still part of the previous season, which resulted in lower ratings.
