Many were curious about her disappearance and others speculated why she might have taken a break.
Some thought it might be due to her Meema’s death last week. Sadly, Kelly Jo Bates’ mom Betty Jo Pitcher passed away due to RSV complications. Other fans wondered if Josie might be pregnant or if she was just really busy with work.

After a few days off of social media, Josie resurfaced on Tuesday and gave fans an update. On her Instagram Stories, she shared a selfie with her daughter Willow and teased that they’ve been “working on something.”
Then, Josie Bates dropped a new video on her Instagram page, showing off many beautiful pieces of jewelry she’s adding to her online store called The Effortless Shop.
She revealed that she’s launching a new jewelry collection in her online store. She only recently added jewelry to the mix after previously selling hair accessories. And now, she has more items coming this Thursday. This time, it’s called the Essentials Collection and features a variety of everyday jewelry pieces.
She seems to be very excited. You can watch the new launch video here. It will be available to shop in her online store beginning on Thursday, November 17.

After announcing the new jewelry collection, Josie then explained to fans why she’s been missing from Instagram. She said she received several messages from fans wondering where she was. She told her followers that she’s grateful for social media and work, but she needs to “step away from social media sometimes.”
