What did they say about being brainwashed?

One fan asked Jed and Katey Duggar, “What is the biggest misconception of your family?” In response, Jed said, “You’re brainwashed, your parents control you, you’re probably all gonna have the same number of kids.”

Duggar fans and critics often accuse Jim Bob and Michelle of brainwashing or indoctrinating their kids.

Then, he continued, “I’m definitely not brainwashed, I have a mind of my own.”

Katey Duggar agreed with him and said that she also has a mind of her own. Jed elaborated, giving viewers a real-life example of how different he can be from his parents. He said, “My dad and I will even sometimes have an argument, disagreements, and we’ll talk things out and it’s healthy.”

So, it sounds like Jed and Katey Duggar are both done listening to all of these assumptions. Maybe this video will set the record straight once and for all and silence those comments

  1. I feel sorry for these children, Had to grow up with these parents. No no I’m not indoctrinated, even though I couldn’t hold hands with my boyfriend or girlfriend or go on a date without someone watching every single move we make. No no I’m not indoctrinated, even though we weren’t allowed to dance as children. My wife used to watch 19 kids and counting. It made me sick to my stomach to see how their parents treated their children. I felt sorry for them that they lost their childhood to these nut parents.

Teaching a child they will go to hell if they don’t follow the rules is indoctrination. It’s also mental child abuse.

I will teach my son about all religions but not until he reaches the age of reason and is able to understand.

  2. I live the Duggars like they said they are not perfect but who is I love the way they believe in God and just everything about them keep doing your videos and God bless you all
