Why Anna Duggar Thinks Josh’s Sisters Sold Out
Former TLC star Anna Duggar feels that her sisters-in-law sold out, according to an inside source. While she used to be pretty close with Josh Duggar’s sisters, things may have changed amid his ongoing legal drama. So, what’s going on?
In case you missed any of the details, Josh was arrested in the spring of 2021 on child pornography charges. He’s since been found guilty and is serving a 12-year sentence in federal prison in Texas. Meanwhile, his wife, Anna is raising their seven children.
Anna Duggar still lives in Arkansas with the rest of the Duggar family. Though she still spends time with her in-laws, there have been some changes since Josh’s legal issues first began. While she used to be very close with Josh’s sisters, things aren’t so good between them these days, a source claims.

An inside source close to the Duggars shared some details with InTouch. There has allegedly been some distance between Anna and her sisters-in-law.
After Josh’s arrest and guilty verdict, several members of the Duggar family issued statements against him and his actions. Apparently, Anna Duggar was not happy about this. Some family members did offer to support Anna, but it looks like their statements about Josh weren’t well-received.
The source said, “It started after some family members spoke out about Josh’s arrest. It was a nightmare navigating all that. Yes, it was horrible what Josh was accused of, but she needed unconditional support. Anna took it as a betrayal and she’s still not ready to fully forgive some family members.”
Despite the distance, a source told InTouch that Anna still brings her kids around their cousins, aunts, and uncles. Though the children’s lives are normal in this sense, Anna’s relationship with her in-laws has changed.
It’s unclear what the future holds for Anna Duggar and her seven kids. She reportedly wants to move to Texas near where Josh is serving his sentence. But Josh thinks she should wait and see what happens with his appeal.
