Dr. Now advertises merchandise featuring his face
Most My 600-Lb. Life viewers love Dr. Now. But do they love him enough to buy his products? In addition to being a television surgeon, Dr. Now also offers Cameos, merchandise, and even has a book coming out soon.
It’s not at all uncommon for reality TV stars to sell merchandise. But not everyone has their face put on earrings.
“New Dr. Now dangles available on zaradanfineart.com. Each product is hand drawn and made by @jennowzaradanart making each item unique and one of a kind,” the bariatric surgeon captioned his Instagram post. Jen Nowzaradan is one of Dr. Now’s children. She frequently comes up with original designs to sell in her father’s store.
Although many fans think it’s sweet that he’s working with his daughter to produce merchandise, some fans couldn’t help but feel that the earrings were a little unsettling. One fan simply just wrote, “Why???” in the comments.
But if fans aren’t quite feeling the earrings, there is plenty of other Dr. Now merchandise available for purchase. Jennifer uploaded some new photos of t-shirt designs she worked with.
Will you be purchasing any of the merchandise anytime soon? Be sure to leave your own thoughts, opinions, and ideas in the comments. Share what you think!
Is there a hidden motive behind the merchandise push?
Is Dr. Now trying to promote the show and his practice? Or is there another reason he’s pushing these products right now? Although the Iranian surgeon confirmed that My 600-Lb. Life would be back for another season, there’s no denying that the production company has several lawsuits going on right now. Many former patients have sued the show for a wide variety of reasons. Is it possible that the doctor is just trying to cover some legal expenses?
Fans at home may never know the complete story. But in the meantime, there are plenty of updates with former patients to catch up on.
