Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly Shock Clothing Shop Manager
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly gave a Dublin retailer the surprise of a lifetime over the weekend. On Sunday night, the celebrity couple casually popped into the Nine Crows vintage shop to try on some clothes. Not only did they spend money there but they also posed for a photo with the staff. According to the shop’s Instagram page, the surprise visit took place at the Temple Bar store in the city center. Needless to say, the shop manager was “in shock” over the whole thing. She dished about the experience in detail to The Sunday World and only had great things to say about the fiancés. Read on for the full story and exciting deets.
Surprise Visit!
When the Nine Crows staff got to work on October 9 they had no idea they were in for a massive treat. According to the shop manager, Alexandrea Morgan, 24, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly stopped by the store some 10 minutes before closing time and totally made their day. “When I woke up this morning, I was like, ‘Did that actually happen?’ You know when you just think something is a dream,” Alexandrea told The Sunday World.
Based on her account, the pair was drawn in by the music inside the store. This happened ahead of MGK’s 3Arena gig on Sunday and one of the girls on shift, who had tickets for the show, was playing his music. “He heard it and came in, but they obviously ended up liking the shop because it’s definitely their style,” explained Alexandrea, who said she was “still in shock” after their visit.
A self-described “massive fan” of Megan Fox, she detailed that the couple was really “down to earth” and “just so, so nice” and they impressed everyone with their humble attitude and sweet behavior.
“They were so normal,” she said, noting that they did have security with them.
Megan Fox & MGK Try On Vintage Clothes
As expected, the starstruck staff was completely in awe of the duo, who didn’t flaunt their celebrity status at all. The pair shopped just like any regular couple and ended up spending just over $190 in the store.
“Megan bought a coat from us and Machine Gun Kelly bought a t-shirt,” said Alexandrea. “They didn’t ask for a discount or anything.”
The manager added they were accommodating of the other customers and “didn’t ask anyone to leave or anything.”
“I was just in shock. The first thing I said to them was, ‘What are you doing here?’ and they both just laughed.
Of course, the crew couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get a photo of their idols. Luckily, Megan stepped up in a big way. When Alexandrea asked to snap a pic of them with the clothes they bought, the Transformers star, 36, insisted that the girls get in the frame too. “Megan was like, ‘No, you guys get in it too. You have to be in it!’”, she recounted.
As you can see in the picture below, Megan showed off her new coat in a cute pose with her tongue sticking out. The actress, who recently shocked fans with dramatic new hair, rocked her trademark dark brunette locks once again. Meanwhile, MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, stood in the back and let the ladies take the spotlight.
So, So Wholesome
The staff was over the moon to have their picture taken with their favorite celebrities. “We’re so glad we got in it now because we have it as a memory,” Alexandrea shared. “They were lovely, so down to earth. What a mad day.”
And while everyone at Nine Crows will certainly treasure the pic for a long time, Megan and MGK had yet another surprise for the ladies. To top it all off, MGK gave them all free tickets to his concert that evening. Cue the awws.
“The fact that they came into our small little female-owned business and shopped with us, didn’t ask for a discount, were so lovely, and gave us tickets was just so nice,” gushed the manager.
A truly wholesome experience indeed!
