What Is Lifetime’s An Amish Sin About?

According to The Futon Critic, Rachel (Ratzlaff) is an Amish teen who is at odds with her parents. That is because they have chosen who she is going to marry. However, Rachel refuses, because that man has abused her since she was a young girl.

To avoid a marriage she abhors, she tries to run away. Unfortunately, she is caught. Now, her life has taken a worse turn. She is forced to go to rehab for Amish girls who are rule-breakers.

Yet, somehow, Rachel manages to escape. She moves nearby to another city. Now, Rachel is rebuilding her life away from the rules that trapped her.

The premiere of An Amish Sin is on Saturday, October 22, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Lifetime.
