‘DWTS’ Disney+ Night: Pros Will Pay Homage To Fan-Favorite Film
DWTS Disney+ Night is just one night away! The official set list is already out and fans are very excited to see the remaining 13 couples perform to popular Disney songs.
This year, there are a wide variety of songs on the playlist. There are even pretty expansive songs from shows like The Simpsons and the MCU. While it’s exciting to see the show branch out, plenty of fans can’t help but notice that one popular Disney movie wasn’t represented.
However, one pro dancer put fans’ concerns to rest. There would indeed be a routine dedicated to this fan-favorite film. It’ll be the opening number for tomorrow night instead!
Keep reading to learn a little bit more about the planned performance for Disney+ Night.
The pro dancers are working on their Disney+ Night opening number
Right now, the pro dancers are doing their best to bring tomorrow night’s routines to life. It’s always a lot of hard work, but they make it look so effortless.
Pro dancer Louis Van Amstel is no longer in the competition, but he’s still an active participant in Dancing With The Stars. Like the other eliminated pros, he will have a more active role in little numbers. He could possibly even step in as a substitute if another pro is injured or sick. And of course, Louis will participate in the opening number for Disney+ Night.
The dancer confirmed on his Instagram page that tomorrow night’s opening routine would be Encanto-themed.
“@disneyplus night is going to be amazing!!! Join us on our journey to Colombia for the #encanto opening number! 💜” Louis captioned his Instagram post.
Many fans initially felt disappointed to see that Encanto hadn’t made the list of performances for Disney+ Night. They felt it was more deserving than The Simpsons theme song, which Mark Ballas and Charli D’Amelio will perform to.
Last year, Sasha Farber and Suni Lee performed to a song from Encanto. But at that point, the movie hadn’t been released yet so fans weren’t quite as excited about it as they would have been otherwise.
Are you excited to learn that the opening number will be to an Encanto song? Will “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” make it into the routine? Be sure to leave your thoughts and ideas in the comments. Share what you think!
Fans need to keep watching and voting for their favorite competitors
Disney+ Night begins tomorrow at 8 PM eastern time and 5 PM pacific time. Don’t forget to tune in and catch the amazing Encanto-themed routine as well as the rest of the performances. Vote for your favorite couples and keep checking back for more Dancing With The Stars news!
