Yellowstone Season 5 Trailer Shows The Duttons Fighting For What They Want
On Thursday, Paramount released the first full trailer preview for Yellowstone Season 5. Looks like Montana has a brand-new governor! This trailer is skipping the campaign and moving right to the inauguration. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) has his hand on the Bible and is being sworn in.
Moreover, he is quick to get rid of the staff waiting to serve him. “You’re all fired.” Dutton tells them. In turn, he looks at Beth (Kelly Reilly) and appoints her his new chief of staff.
Jamie (Wes Bentley) warns his cantankerous sister that “they will fight you dirty.” Beth is far from concerned. “Is there any other way?” She is ready to take down everyone else.
Moreover, this also means that Jamie and Beth, and Jamie and John are back to being on the same side.
Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver) is none too pleased with the Dutton’s newfound power. The Market Equities exec is determined to take Mrs. Rip Wheeler down. She reveals that she is sick to death of this “******* family.”
Moreover, Caroline sends Dawn Olivieri (Sarah Atwood) to “ruin them.” She even tells her which Dutton she wants to go down first, “starting with her.”
John Dutton is cool as a cucumber. is he concerned about the war? Nope. “We’re already at war.”
Can Kayce And Monica Stay Away From Dutton Drama?
The preview also showed Kayce (Luke Grimes) and Monica (Kelsey Asbille) not living the perfect life they envisioned. Are they getting caught up in the Dutton war? It sure looks like it.
We see Kayce say, “I do this for my father.” As for Monica, she wearily says at the end of the trailer, “When I say we give everything to this land, I do mean everything.”
