Vinny Guadagnino is prepared to let it all hang out on the dance floor
Good Morning America put out the official DWTS Season 31 cast list on September 8. There will be 16 competing partners. And the celebrity contestants come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Vinny Guadagnino is here to represent the Jersey Shore cast and put on a real show.
“I don’t know if I’m going to rip the t-shirt open right off the bat. But just being on stage, being in front of a crowd, dancing, learning some choreography definitely helps,” the Jersey Shore star confessed during a DWTS press conference. “But this is completely different. This is ballroom style. Something I’ve never done before.”
“We’ll try to incorporate a little peekaboo here and there at some point,” Koko chimed in.
“We got to let it build a little bit. And then, we’ll rip it off,” Vinny continued. “We’re going to bring the shower in from Chippendales, and that’s it.”
Of course, there’s really no telling what Koko and Vinny will come up with for their first routine. But now, fans are really excited to see what the pair comes up with for September 19.
The Jersey Shore star is beyond ready to tackle this new chapter of life
For many years now, reality TV fans have loved seeing Vinny Guadagnino and the rest of the Jersey Shore crew in various formats. There doesn’t seem to be any shortage of projects for the cast members. And that’s one reason Vinny is really excited to take this opportunity to join DWTS.
“When I first got on TV, when I was 21 years old, I was young. I was kind of figuring myself out. Then, we came back with Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. And this is the new Vinny,” the reality star shared in the press conference. “I’m 34 now. I’m in the best shape of my life. I feel good. I’m mentally there. And I’m ready to do this competition right now more than I would [have been,]. I could have done it back then, but I’m ready for it right now.”
Dancing With The Stars Season 31 will premiere on Disney+ starting September 19. Tune in and see how Vinny and Koko perform! This is definitely one season you won’t want to miss.
