Hallmark’s ‘The Way Home’ Casts Sadie Laflamme-Snow
Hallmark Media has announced that Sadie Laflamme-Snow is starring in their new, time-travel series, The Way Home.

Hallmark Casts Sadie Laflamme-Snow To New Drama, The Way Home
On Monday, Deadline announced that they have cast Sadie Laflamme-Snow in the role of a young teen, Alice Landry. This completes the trio of leads of this time-travel family drama.
First, Andie MacDowell (Maid, Groundhog Day), was cast as the matriarch, Del. Last week, Hallmark Media announced that Chyler Leigh (Supergirl, Grey’s Anatomy) would portray Kat, Alice’s mother, and Del’s daughter.
Laurie Ferneau, Senior Vice President, Development, Hallmark Media shared her enthusiasm for this news. “We’re so pleased to have Sadie Laflamme-Snow as the youngest member of the Landry women in The Way Home.”
“In her, we’ve found the perfect complement to Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh, and we can’t wait to see these three talented actresses help us bring the series to life. “
Who Is Sadie Laflamme-Snow?
Sadie Laflamme-Snow is an up-and-coming talent. The Toronto-based actress graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada. Last year, she was a finalist for WBTV’s Actors In Training Program.
She has starred in several TV movies including Love Triangle Nightmare, and Sinister Switch. Laflamme-Snow also has recent lead roles in Shudder’s Slasher, and Netflix’s animated series, Unicorn Academy.
What Is Hallmark’s The Way Home About?
The Way Home is described as a time-travel drama. A mother and daughter are estranged. A tragedy occurred and that led Kat (Leigh) to break all communication with her mother Del (MacDowell). She leaves their Canadian farm town of Port Haven, New Brunswick, for Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The story starts two decades later. Kat just went through a difficult divorce, and she has come home along with her daughter, Alice Landry (Laflamme-Snow).
The 15-year-old is not happy to be leaving her hometown but soon starts to find contentment in her new home. Moreover, she soon uncovers information about her family’s past. This is a path to information that she never thought “she was looking for.”

Will They Be Announcing More Cast Members?
Currently, IMDb has updated the announced names for The Way Home in their listings. Moreover, they also include two more names in the cast list.
The first name is Natalie Hall (Road Trip Romance, Heart Of Christmas). According to the listing, she portrays Brooke. In addition, Kaitlin Doubleday (Love On Iceland, Nashville) is listed as portraying Tim.
Hallmark Media has not announced either actress nor have they shared what their roles will be in the new series.
When Does Hallmark Start Filming The Way Home?
Hallmark was scheduled to start filming The Way Home on Monday. According to ACTRA, the performer’s union website, filming will commence on August 15. They will be filming in Toronto until November 24.
However, The Way Home Season 1 will not premiere on the Hallmark Channel until 2023.
