Todd Chrisley & Lindsie Feud Continues: Estranged Daughter Shuts Down Allegations She Sold Her Father Out
As those who watch Chrisley Knows Best can relate, things haven’t been great between Todd Chrisley and his estranged daughter Lindsie. While many fans of the reality family hope for a reconciliation and reunion, things don’t appear to be heading in that direction.
According to a recent report by TMZ, Lindsie Chrisley has been catching a lot of heat for the tax scandal of her parents. Unfortunately for the estranged member of the family, there was period of time where she spoke to officials regarding the tax case. Fans of Todd and Julie didn’t take learning of the conversation very well.
Many accused Lindsie of selling her father out to the tax officials.
A source close to Lindsie Chrisley has now come forward to shut down these rumors. The anonymous source noted that “her father is dead wrong by assuming she gave up dirt on him and the family to Joshua Waites.”
For those unfamiliar with the name, Joshua Waites is the Director of the Georgia Department of Revenue’s Office of Special Investigation. He is who Todd and Julie are currently suing.
The source speaking on behalf of Lindsie noted that the estranged daughter only spoke to Joshua to protect her 6-year-old son, Jackson. She wanted to make sure nothing could blow back on her son. She wanted to protect her son from the thick of it and make sure he didn’t get mixed up in the legal or financial matters.

The source insisted to TMZ that Todd’s claims that Lindsie dished dirt on her family to Joshua was simply untrue.
She merely wanted her son left out of it.
Back in 2017, Todd had legal papers served to his home. His daughter Lindsie Chrisley and her son Jackson were present. She was extremely uncomfortable. She didn’t want her son anywhere near the situation.
Ultimately, she stayed in touch with Josh. She wanted updates on the case without having to bring her son into it. The source persistently told TMZ Lindsie never even met Joshua in person.
The biggest point the source makes is simple. If she did give dirt to the tax officials, why has nothing come of the case?
The rumor largely originated from the Chrisley family
As those who have been following the story know, it doesn’t appear to have been fans who started the rumors. It was Todd Chrisley and the rest of Lindsie’s family that expressed concern. Concern that Lindsie sold them out to the tax officials.

Unfortunately, fans wishing for a reunion between Lindsie and Todd Chrisley will have to keep hoping. The duo don’t appear to be close to working things out.
