Gia FaceTimes With Dad Joe Giudice After He Leaves An ICE Detainment Center

The first glimpse of Joe Giudice surfaces during a FaceTime phone call with his older daughter, Gia, E! Online is reporting.

Gia FaceTimed Her Dad Joe

This morning Gia posted to her Instagram stories two photos, one a FaceTime picture of Joe. In the photo he looks to be sitting in a car with a seat-belt on and smiling wide as he talks to Gia. “One of the happiest moments of my life! Love you so much daddy, so happy your free! See you soon,” Gia captioned on the photo. The Instagram story’s second picture was of Joe in what looks like a home in Italy, sitting in a kitchen and again looking very happy. Joe flew to his homeland of Italy on Friday.

Gia had also recently shared a throwback picture of her and her dad when she was young,  seemingly three or four-years-old. “FaceTime you soon daddy,” she captioned it.

Fans reacted to her throwback Instagram post with sympathy, “I hope he is back with you girls very soon. This isn’t ok,” wrote one fan. “So happy for you that he is out of custody in that terrible situation at least! Hopefully you can do visits soon both ways,” commented another fan. The majority of her fans offering positive thoughts and prayers for Gia.

A New Look For Joe

This FaceTime photo is the first picture of Joe since he entered jail and later the ICE detention center. It is hard to recognize him. Although he looks much thinner and a little older than when he first entered, he is flashing a big smile.

Joe and Teresa were found guilty of fraud and each served time in jail. Joe served the most—41 months in prison. Upon completion of his time, a judge ruled that Joe, an Italian-born permanent U.S. citizen, must be deported to Italy. But the family appealed and instead he was transferred to an ICE detainment center to await a new court case on whether Joe will be allowed to stay permanently in the United States.

The Giudice’s Are Fighting Back

“’We are very happy that Joe is free, but very sad that he is still not home where he belongs,’ the Giudice’s family attorney said in a statement to E! News on Friday,” the articles states and continues, “The lawyer told TMZ that Joe called Teresa and Gia from the plane. ‘It’s bittersweet, everyone is happy he is out but no one is happy he is going to Italy,” he said, ‘I met with Joe face to face a week ago at the prison in Pennsylvania. This is a man who loves his family and is not done fighting by any means. He wants to come home.’”

In past statements Theresa voiced that if Joe is deported back to Italy they would ultimately separate.

Time will tell if Joe will get to reunite with his family back in New Jersey so keep checking back for the most up-to-date news.
