WWE NXT: 3 Must-See Moments

Pretty Deadly crash Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen’s celebration
Earlier this month, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Pretty Deadly to become the new NXT UK Tag Team Champions. On NXT 2.0, Briggs and Jensen made their way to the ring to talk about their victory overseas. Within minutes, Pretty Deadly crashed the celebration coming to the ring. Pretty Deadly mocked Briggs and Jensen before attempting a sneak attack. They had the upper hand at first, however, Briggs and Jensen were quick to fight back and leave with their titles in the air.

Cameron Grimes takes out Bron Breakker
Bron Breaker will defend his NXT Title at The Great American Bash against Cameron Grimes. Before the title match next week, Breakker and Grimes met face to face to close out WWE NXT 2.0. Grimes attempted to play mind games with the champion, however, Breakker brushed them off. It wasn’t until grimes took a shot at Breakker’s dad, Rick Steiner, that caused the champion to snap. Breakker attempted a powerslam but Grimes wiggled free. After Breakker went for a charge, Grimes moved and threw him into the corner turnbuckle. The medical team rushed to the ring and diagnosed Breakker with a separated shoulder.

The Bash

Great American Bash around the corner
One of the most historic wrestling events in history is The Great American Bash. Beginning in 1985, the NWA ran the events, which later translated to WCW after the Turner buyout in 1988. It wasn’t until 2004 when the main roster WWE ran the show before shifting to NXT in 2020. The main event for next week’s Great American Bash will be Bron Breakker defending his NXT Title against Cameron Grimes. The NXT Tag Team Titles will also be on the line, as well as the Women’s Title.
