Welcome to Plathville star Kim Plath is truly branching out and finding out who she really is. The formerly strict mama is now doing her own thing, as shown on Season 4 of her family’s TLC show. On TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, Kim Plath has been very open about avoiding alcohol. She and her husband, Barry Plath, raised their children in a very strict environment, even avoiding sugar. On the show, fans witnessed Ethan Plath try his very first Coca-Cola.
So, after watching the first few seasons of the show, it might come as a surprise to fans that Kim would even consider drinking alcohol. But from the latest preview of the show, it looks like she’s had a change of heart.
Kim Plath goes all out with her son, Micah.
On Wednesday, June 29, TLC shared a new preview for the next episode of Welcome to Plathville. The next episode premieres on Tuesday, July 5 on TLC. It’s also available to stream on discovery+ that morning.
In the new clip, one scene features Kim and her son, Micah, at a bar together. If you watched the Tuesday, June 28 episode of the show, you saw Micah’s 21st birthday celebration in Tampa, Florida with his siblings.
Now, he’s enjoying an adult beverage with his mom, Kim Plath. As you can see in the snap below, they both have glasses of water on the table, but it looks like they’re enjoying another drink, too.
She says to her son, “I know God, God knows me. Life’s short. It’s okay to have some fun.”
Micah adds, “Cheers to our first drink together.”
